Coupon Industry Association - Membership Code of Ethics

The Coupon Industry Association of Canada is a coupon industry trade association that promotes the use of couponing in Canada.

The purposes of the Coupon Industry Association of Canada are to improve coupon industry business conditions, to assure the continuance of coupons as a viable sales and marketing tool and to provide for the resolution of common industry concerns in the development, distribution and redemption of coupons. To further the purposes of the Coupon Industry Association of Canada the association expects that certain ethical principles shall govern the conduct of every Coupon Industry Association of Canada member.

  A Coupon Industry Association of Canada member shall:

  • Conduct honest and fair business and professional dealings with customers, suppliers and members of the coupon processing industry.
    Promote practices and policies in their firms that reflect favorably upon the industry.
  • Seek no unfair advantage over other Coupon Industry Association of Canada members.
  • Conduct business so as to reach agreeable solutions to controversies with other Coupon Industry Association of Canada members.
  • Refrain from any activities that may conflict with the purposes of Coupon Industry Association of Canada.

The Coupon Industry Association of Canada will act as a communicator of the Code of Ethics and will address issues of noncompliance within the industry as presented to the association from time to time.
